Tying the KnotJust Married Aileen and Peter decided to have a honeymoon with a difference. Not everyones cup of tea but certainly the way to tie the knot. No arguments but perfect domestic bliss was only recorded by Sam Leary who took the couple out for a winters day for APM.
Whilst Sam was Dorsaling Adele was with another "couple" on Ordinary route where both of the team Raymond and Kaj got the chance to be on the sharp end. A great day out in the Lochan before the warm wet conditions set in for the next few days.

Glorious Gary on hist first day of four days private guidingToday Adele and Gary went to the white corries to have a full day of core winter mountaineering skills. Ice axe breaking, footwork, cramponing on ice, belays and belaying and also a swalk to the summit and a descent down a perfect ridge to the col between Meall a Bhuide and Creise. Poor Gary was bombarded with information, walked off his feet and then finally got to watch a rescue as Adele was first at the scene for a young man who head planted on his skis and dislocated his shoulder. Ski patrol were soon on the case and with two members of the Glencoe rescue team the young man was sledged off the hill in a vac matress and into an ambulance. What a day!

Day Trip to the Cairngorms!
Steve on the Second pitch of Hidden Chimney (II/III)
Yesterday Adele and Steve and Sam and Laurence went for an outing to the Cairngorms for a change of scenery from the West. The walk into the Coire was a little less demanding than the infamous walk into the Ben or the Lochan. There was even a hint that Adele may be getting soft! Hidden Chimney was chosen as the route of the day and a day of team work and fantastic weather made this an excellent outing.
Sam's bottom making an exemplerary lead on the final pitch. After topping out Adele and Steve took a stroll to the top of Cairngorm to enjoy the views of this beautiful mountain range.
Looking BackScotland is Scotland with ever changing conditions but on a day like yesterday you feel that all the hard work is worth it. Steve is now heading back to the South and Adele is on domestic duties before starting another week's work for Jagged Globe.
