From Scottish Winter to Spring Rock
Andrew on the Lead on Sunset Crack (HS) Froggat
The Winter season ended abruptly for Adele as the snow dissapeared and she caught a stinking cold.Colin went off sailing in the Western Isles with Captain Hanna and sailing Sam Leary to end his winter experience. Now back in the Peak disrtict Adele has been out and about and over the last two days ( as the weather turned bad) she ran an SPA refresher for Andrew. Despite the gale force winds and drizzle Adele and Andrew refreshed all the aspects of the SPA syllabus and had plenty of time left for Andrew to test his leading and to follow Paul Scott up Tody's wall. There was even a rumour that short pants Pennington managed for the first time ever to second the route!
Andrew Refreshing his SPA in preparation fro his assessment.
Adele Pennington Mountaineering will be running an SPA training on the 6th/7th June when she returns from Makalu.
