Adele is an inspiration. She will push you as hard as she can but be as cautious as she needs to be. Whatever the day brings - and in our case it brought two middle-aged, keen but creaking people - Adele remains positive, cheerful and in possession of a wicked sense of humour. I organise a quarterly networking event for Finance Directors from Yorkshire's largest companies. My greatest challenge is to secure speakers that will inspire and interest such a high profile audience. Adele spoke about her life as a solo mountaineer and as a team leader, particularly her ability to manage risk and remain an effective leader under pressure. Her relaxed and humorous manner and the at times shocking presentation combined with amazing photos and video had the entire room gripped. The feedback has been universally excellent, throughout the evening meal that followed the seminar Adele continued to entertain with further stories from her amazing life.
